Andrea Newland graduated from the Mass Art in Boston in 2006 with a degree in Art Education and Painting. Growing up in Monson she always had a passion for art, theater and writing. She is the Artistic Director of the Summer Art Camp in Monson and as a member of the Monson Arts Council she organizes "Crafternoons for Kids," art filled days at the Monson House of Art. Andrea enjoys drawing, painting, sewing, set design and recycled sculpture. She is the artistic director of the Northampton based musical collectives Llama Lasagne and Hamp Grown, helping make the visual elements of their shows as entertaining as the music side. She has taught in public schools as well as private art lessons. Andrea currently resides in Northampton with an art studio at the Rust Temple in Easthampton.
