Is Your 4-5 Year old Ready For Music Lessons?  

 

This is a complicated question. Every child is different, and some may be ready for individual lessons at an earlier age than others.  We’ve developed an introductive, exploratory music class for 4-5 year olds, where they can learn a bit about the fundamentals of music while in a fun, small group setting. Your child can start to put together a basic understanding of music, as well as become familiar with and accustomed to taking lessons.  It’s a great way to determine whether or not they are ready, while also costing less than a private lesson.

 

What we will learn and do in these classes:

Our Future Musicians classes are meant to be fun.  We’ve had students leave these classes wanting to be composers, rock musicians, and opera singers!  We’ll introduce them to a huge variety of musical styles, and learn about different instruments and how they sound. They’ll explore the world of composing, including learning how to read and write musical notes, and listening to different composers. We work on rhythm studies, as well as listening skills and pitch.  Our classes are an exciting and fun introduction to the world of music.

The Details:

Future Musicians classes will meet once a week for a half an hour, Just like a regular lesson.  Our rates are $60/month.  The classes will run with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 students.
