Brass & Bass

 I specialize in Brass, Bass Guitar, Music Theory and Rhythm Training for all instruments.  I have been a freelance musician in Western Massachusetts for over twenty years, was educated at the Hartt School of Music, and received a B.A. from Hampshire College in musical acoustics, composition and performance.  As a teacher, I focus on breath, posture, tone, and listening as a foundation to explore each student's individual interests.  I draw on my passion for the study and practice of music, and on my experience performing many and varied styles ranging from solo pieces to large ensembles.  I look forward to working with you on your unique journey in music.
